Conference Registration

You can register online for SAP TechEd 2009 Vienna. Once your registration is complete, you will receive a confirmation e-mail. Further information — including personal registration numbers — will be sent to all confirmed registrants approximately two weeks before the event.

Hotel

SAP has negotiated special discounted rates with hotels in Vienna. To receive these rates, you'll need to book your room through this Web site. Once your registration is complete, you will be able to book your room online.

*Only Full Conference registrants who have already paid their registration fee may sign up for a maximum of two hands-on workshops. Advance sign-up is required for reserved seating. We reserve hands-on workshop seats on a first come, first-served basis. Hands-on workshop sign-up is tentatively scheduled to open online the week of September 21–25. We will send all Full Conference registrants two advance e-mails announcing the exact date and time.

Buy Four Get One Free: Participation Rules

Rules of Engagement

Only full conference registrations qualify for the Buy Four Get One Free package.
All five registrants must be employed by the same company and possess the same e-mail address domain.
One lead registrant must take responsibility to purchase the Buy Four Get One Free package.

How to Register

If you register online, please enter all information for the first person, select the type of ticket, and then click the Register another Person link and enter the details for the next person you wish to register.
When you have completed all five bookings, click the Confirm button. That will take you to the payment confirmation page, where you will be able to confirm the transaction.

Promotional Terms of Use

Only new registrations are eligible for the Buy Four Get One Free promotion. Current active registrants of SAP TechEd 2009 Vienna do not qualify.

SAP employees are not eligible to participate and/or purchase registrations for this promotion.
The Buy Four Get One Free promotional offer cannot be used in conjunction with any other discount or promotional offer(s).
SAP reserves the right to cancel or modify this promotion at any time.

Payment Terms and Conditions

For all early-bird registrations payment must be received by July 31, 2009. For regular registrations payment must be received by September 30, 2009. For all other registrations, payment must be received before the event. Please be advised that your registration is not considered confirmed until payment has been received in full. All registrants must pay 20% Austrian VAT. Registration is not considered paid unless the VAT has been included with each registration payment. Once payment has been received, a payment confirmation e-mail will be sent to you. This will include your tax invoice attached as a PDF document. Please note that all payments must be made in euros.

Cancellation

All cancellations must be received in writing. Please fax your cancellation notice to +44 1252 77 17 30 or send an e-mail to sap@delegate.com before the October 9, 2009 deadline. Cancellations made after the October 9, 2009 deadline and delegates who do not attend and do not cancel will be liable for the full registration fee.

Substitutions

Substitutions must be received in writing, be addressed to the registration office, and include the names of both the original and the substitute registrants.

Event Cancellation

In the event that SAP TechEd 2009 is cancelled, registrants will be refunded only the registration fee. Cancellation of travel reservations and hotel reservations is the exclusive responsibility of the registrant.

Please note that after October 9, 2009, you will be unable to make any amendments, cancellations, or date changes via the Web site. Please contact the registration office directly using the contact details in your confirmation e-mail.

SAP Data Privacy Policy

SAP will keep attendee contact information confidential. However, please be advised that your contact information (name, title, company, address, phone, and e-mail) will be encoded on your badge within the magnetic strip. It is at your discretion to provide your badge to any exhibitor for scanning. Providing your badge for scanning gives the exhibitor your permission to market to you in the future.

DATA PROTECTION

In order to process your booking and to ensure that your event registration runs smoothly and meets your requirements, it is necessary to request the information provided in this registration form.

SAP, as the data controller, is responsible for ensuring that the information you provide is protected and secure. SAP and Grass Roots DMS have entered into an agreement whereby Grass Roots DMS shall process information in compliance with the Data Protection Act 1998. The information you have provided in this registration form will be passed on to or collected by Grass Roots DMS to secure your event registration, hotel reservation and local destination management. In processing such information, Grass Roots DMS shall ensure that all suppliers to whom personal information is passed shall be made aware of the restrictions in using such personal information and shall only use the personal information to process any event registration and/or hotel reservation arrangements in strict accordance with instructions from SAP, for the sole purpose of providing event registration and/or hotel reservation services for the event. This also applies to any sensitive information you provide such as details of any disabilities or dietary or religious requirements. The information may also be provided to public authorities including (but not limited to) customs/immigration if required by them, or by law. Under no circumstances will any personal information be used for further marketing or advertising. In the event that the destination is not within the European Economic Area (EEA), you should be aware that controls on data protection may not be as strong as those in the EEA. Neither SAP nor Grass Roots DMS will pass your information to any party who is not responsible for a part of your registration arrangements for the event. Please be aware that if SAP and Grass Roots DMS cannot pass this information to the relevant suppliers, whether in the EEA or not, your registration cannot be processed. By submitting this registration form you consent to this information being passed onto the relevant persons.

In order to perform and provide the services, suppliers may be required to pass personal information onto third parties. In such instances Grass Roots DMS will approve such transfers on the condition that these third parties will adhere to the restrictions and obligations imposed on suppliers on the use of personal information.
