Minimized Downtime Service: Save Your Money – Save Business Downtime

Time is money. This well-known phrase from economy also applies to the downtime of a company’s IT system signifying cost measurements and affecting daily business. Downtime can be seen as one of the biggest challenges of an IT project. In an IT landscape consisting of various SAP solutions high availability of each component is essential. However, downtime is unavoidable while performing system changes due to the following reasons: upgrades, Enhancement Package implementations, Software Life-Cycle Management (SLM), Maintenance; platform changes, reallocation of systems, Unicode conversion; consolidation of system landscapes, and legal and tax requirements. The IT system downtime can inherit a procession of costs and consequences resulting in production standstill, interruption of order handling, employee idle time, customer complaints, and delayed delivery. SAP Consulting can help you plan and manage your business downtime via the Minimized Downtime Service offering (MDS). The MDS service facilitates efficient downtime and cost control management incorporating your individual requirements.
