COMMUNITY DAY AT SAP TECHED 2008
Enterprise SOA Project Journey — A Short Look into Unknown Horizons
Monday, September 8 • 1:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Fee € 150
The magic question is how to start an enterprise service-oriented architecture (enterprise SOA) project. During this session you will learn about several enterprise SOA projects and the vast experience SAP has as a result of its involvement, including the explanation of do's and don'ts, prerequisites, why decisions were made, and consequences of these decisions.

You'll hear about practice reports that require the collaboration of business and IT, as well as governance, architecture patterns, and approaches and methodologies.

You'll also learn how to go from business process to technical process.
Help customers translate Business Process into Technical Process and bridge the gap between business and IT.

Learn from hands-on experience and examples in driving projects along the SAP NetWeaver technology platform, and involving Web Dynpro, SAP NetWeaver Visual Composer, SAP Interactive Forms by Adobe, SAP NetWeaver Portal, Guided Procedures, Enterprise Services, and more. You will learn how these technologies collaborate together within a business process composition and implementation, and how SAP is positioning these several technologies to support an enterprise SOA approach for agile processes and rapid application development. You will also hear about the SAP Discovery system, which is explained in detail, so that you can learn how and why to use it for your company and projects.
