Innovation in IT drives business change and growth, and smooth, well-planned data migration is key to implementing new software solutions, but data migration projects can catch unprepared companies off guard. According to Data Migration in the Global 2000, published by Bloor Research International Limited in September 2007, more than 80% of data migration projects run overtime, over budget, or both, with average cost overruns of 30%, and average time overruns of 41%. This session looks in detail at SAP Data Migration services. These provide a standardized and proven approach to planning, designing, and implementing data migration projects. You will learn about the SAP Data Migration software framework based on SAP BusinessObjects technologies, templates, and proven methodologies to help you face the challenges inherent to data migration.
