SAP TechEd continues to deliver educational sessions presented by SAP's own top technical gurus -- developers, product and development managers, and implementation consultants -- sharing their insider expertise and vision. We have also tapped into the larger ecosystem and expanded the agenda to include practical and technical customer- and community-based content delivered by your peers.

Find details on hundreds of lecture sessions and hands-on workshops by browsing or searching through our session offerings.

Session Types & Policies

Lecture Sessions 1-Hour Lecture 2-Hour Lecture

Our one-hour and two-hour lecture sessions are instructor-led and may include in-depth Microsoft PowerPoint presentations and/or online demonstrations. Review the session details for any prerequisites to ensure you are fully qualified to attend. The instructor may offer time for questions and open discussion at the end of the session. Classroom size may vary. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. Advance sign-up is not required.

Lecture sessions, including SDN and BPX Community sessions and ASUG Customer and Influence sessions, are open to all attendees.

Hands-On Workshops 2-Hour Hands-on 4-Hour Hands-on

Our two-hour and four-hour hands-on workshops are instructor-led and may include hands-on learning and applicable exercises. Two students share one laptop computer. The instructor may offer time for questions and open discussion at the end of the workshop.

Hands-On Workshop Sign-Up

Only Full Conference registrants who have already paid their registration fee may reserve seats for hands-on workshops. Advance sign-up is required for reserved seating. We reserve hands-on workshop seats on a first-come, first-served basis.

On-line hands-on workshop sign-up is now closed. To reserve hands-on workshops on-site or change your hands-on workshop reservation, please visit Session Assistance located between the Registration Check-In counters in the Mandalay Bay Foyer, Level 2 starting Monday, October 1 at 7:00 a.m. PDT.

Hands-On Workshop Seats

Hands-on workshop registrants must claim their reserved seat at the start of the hands-on workshop. We reserve the right to release any unclaimed seat at the start of a hands-on workshop. Plan to arrive early to your hands-on workshop. Even one minute late may result in forfeiture of your seat.

Full Conference registrants may also attend any hands-on workshop with open seats remaining at the start of the workshop. Often hands-on workshop seats are still available at workshop start time during the last two days of the conference.

Hands-On Workshop Auditing

Instructors may allow Full Conference registrants to audit a hands-on workshop. If permitted by the instructor, auditing is available on a first-come, first-served basis and is strictly limited to the seating capacity of the classroom.

Maximum Session Capacity

Session capacity is strictly limited to the seating capacity of the classroom. We will not permit overcrowded or standing-room-only classrooms.

Session Handouts

In an attempt to reduce waste and spare the lives of some trees, SAP TechEd is no longer printing handouts for lecture presentations. We will continue to print handouts for hands-on workshops, since the exercises require them. A week prior to the event, we will email registrants announcing that the handouts are available in Adobe PDF format on the conference website, so you can download them to your laptop, or print them at your discretion. You will need your conference registration number and password to access the PDFs.

Basics

All conference sessions take place at the Mandalay Bay Convention Center. We conduct all sessions in English. All conference and session information is subject to change or cancellation.
